Jérôme Keller, oenologist and Director of the Wolfberger Head Winemakers, along with his entire team, plays a role at every level of the vineyards and the Winery and their ability to put together the Wolfberger ranges of Alsace wines and Crémants.
“The quality of the raw product we get from the winegrowers is essential. The identity and the difference of each wine begins initially with the fruit of the vines.
At the harvest, our mission is to pick the grapes very carefully in order to keep them whole and unbroken, losing none of their character. The parcel selection we do beforehand allows us to check the grapes from each parcel and isolate, in some 300 vats of varying sizes, the blends that correspond to each of the wines we’re hoping to get.
Relying on cutting-edge technical equipment, our team gives not only all their talent to each task, but also their devotion, keeping a careful eye on each wine, be it an Alsace Grand Cru or an Alsace AOC.”
