At the heart of the brand’s history

Wolfberger invites you to learn about its secrets and history in the Discovery Space. With films, frescoes and photo exhibitions we reveal the entire history, from its creation in 1902 to the latest technological innovations. But even more, we illustrate the history of the Alsatian terroir: how the topography of the Alsatian valley was formed, which direction the vines face, the height and angle of the slopes, identification and explanations of the grape varieties, geology, the particularities of the terroir and much, much more.

From the selection of the grapes to the methods of winemaking and the grape harvests, to deciphering the labels, and on to the work of the oenologists, Wolfberger unveils it all, in detail. Seeing the Hungarian oak casks, acquired in 1902 with a capacity of 5000 hectoliters – and still used today for vinification – will be the highlight of your visit.
