Wolfberger certified Agri-Confiance®

Proof of its commitment to the environment and especially the Alsatian terroir, Woflberger was awarded the certification Agri Confiance® Norme VO1-007 (for quality and environment of the agricultural output) for 99% of its surface area. A sign of sustainability, the Agri Confiance® certification groups together all the agricultural cooperatives in France engaged in taking steps towards better managing quality and the environment.

The certification rests on two French standards, NF VO1-005 (quality of the production output) and NF VO1-007 (quality and environment of the production output), complementary to the ISO 9001:2008 and 14001.

Wolfberger is currently the only Alsatian winery to have attained this strict level of quality requirements, guaranteeing a quality system that is operational, effective and sustainable. To show its commitment to transparence, total traceability of all its products from the vine to the bottle, and action taken towards preserving the environment, Wolfberger plans to require all its members to follow these steps beginning in 2015.
