Secrets to producing our Crèmes
Liqueurs and Crèmes are crafted by the Wolfberger liquorists following age-old recipes to the letter. These Wolfberger recipes, collected across time and over many generations, are kept in a safe far from indiscreet, wandering eyes. The Liqueurs and Crèmes are a blend of fruit juices, Eaux-de-Vie and sugar syrup at different degrees of alcohol. The recipes of the master liquorists allow them to obtain and subtly create the perfect blends according to precise proportioning.
Differences between Crème and Liqueur
The Crèmes are generally milder and creamier than the Liqueurs. They offer rich, silky flavors while the Liqueurs can have a wider range of textures and concentrations of alcohol, providing a variety of flavor profiles.
The minimum sugar content of a crème is 250 g/liter, excepting the Crème de Cassis which is at a minimum of 500 g/liter.
